facility contains various standard metal forming, machining and welding tools as well as CNC controlled bulge forming, honeycomb core fabrication and brazing equipment required in the manufacture of
our products. Technically advanced equipment such as a 5-axis CNC abrasive waterjet, automatic riveters, programmable automated welding centers and a 5-axis composite filament winder are also in place and utilized in
manufacture
of conventional structure and brazed components used in jet engine exhaust systems. Autoclaves and high temperature ovens and furnaces, monitored using the latest technology vacuum and temperature
control equipment, help to assure the highest level of quality in end item products.
Product development and quality control laboratories employ the latest equipment and techniques including optics, physical properties testing and non-destructive testing such as x-ray and ultrasonic inspection.
Aeronca is consistently in the forefront in providing design and
manufacture of lightweight, high-strength engine and airframe
structures and components to the aerospace industry. Typically, due to the operating environment of such products, Aeronca produced components are able to withstand the most severe temperatures while providing the strength and service life properties required by our customers.
Aeronca is certified to AS9100 and holds NADCAP certifications for special processes including welding, non-destructive testing, and heat treat/braze.
